From a 1/2 incomplete diallel crossing design of “6×6”, the evaluation on yield of hybrid F 2, F 3 populations of naked barley is made. The variety of genetic parameters and the correlation coefficients between yield character and yield character's parents, as well as between yield characters are also studied. The research shows that parents with high yield and more effective spike are largely picked up and in F 2～F 3 generations the types with more effective spike are prior to be selected when high yield breeding is carried out.
