摘要
盐城有很多独具特色的地名,这与该市所处的地理位置和自古繁盛的煮盐业密切相关。通过剖析含"场"、"总"、"荡"等地名的语言和文化理据,揭示其所蕴含的历史文化内涵,既利于人们认识地名的民俗文化学价值,又利于传承和弘扬地域文化。
Yancheng has many unique place names. And this is closely related to the city＇s geographical location and prosperous boiled salt industry from ancient times. Through analysing the motivation of language and culture of ＂ × chang（场）＂ ＂ × zong （总）＂ and ＂ × dang（荡） ＂ ,the author aimed at revealing the historical and cultural connotation of the place names. Not only is this conducive to knowing its culture value, but also conducive to inheriting and carrying forward the regional culture.
