摘要
翻译理论的文化学派认为意识形态、诗学及赞助人等因素操控着译者在翻译过程中对原作的改写。从诗学的角度对林纾的《黑奴吁天录》译本进行了个案分析,探讨了中国晚清特定的历史背景下的社会诗学和林纾的个人诗学观对其翻译行为的制约,进而分析了林纾的这一译作对晚晴社会诗学产生的影响。以上研究进一步表明翻译不仅仅是语言转换的过程,更是源语文化和译语文化碰撞对话的过程。
Cultural translation school puts forward that rewriting in the translation can be manipulated by the issues such as ideology,poetics and patronage in the target culture.This paper analyzes Lin Shu's translated text of Uncle Tom's Cabin as a ease study from the perspective of Poetics Theory by Lefevcm. The effect of the social poetics of the Late Qing Dynasty and the translator's own poetics view on his translation is discussed. The paper also points out that Lin Shu'a translation had an influence on the social poetics of the target culture in that period. The research in the paper proves that translation is not only a linguistic transfer but also a ommunieation lmtween source culture and target euhure.
