In order to enhance safety security and managing level, the Transportation Management Information System （TMIS） based on computer has been adopted. The dispatching situation of port＇s railway before informatization is introduced. The role the informatization plays in dispatch of port＇s railway is analyzed. Emphatically the implementation of ports railway informatization is introduced. Informatization offers important support and security for development of port＇s railway.
