The dramatic growth in China＇s leisure and fitness market boosts the demands for exceptional professional talents by fitness facilities. Nowadays, the short supply of yoga professionals largely results from the growing popularity of yoga in Chi- na. This paper investigates the fundamental conditions of employees and demands for yoga professionals in the leisure and fit- ness market in Jiangsu Province. The results show that it is advisable to attach great importance to diploma education, clarifying market access system, and occupation qualification certification in an attempt to satisfy the demands for such professionals in the market.
