摘要
在ESP教学成为高职公共英语改革的趋势下,高职公共英语教师也必然随之发展。文章从分析高职公共英语教师队伍的现状出发,探讨在ESP教学模式下教师寻求自身的发展的途径。ESP专业发展,ESP教学理念,教材建设与团队建设,给高职公共英语教师提供了在教学和科研上发展的新的突破点。
In higher vocational colleges, the new teaching model of ESP has become the trend of College English Innovation; therefore, College English teachers have no choice but develop themselves to adjust to the change. Beginning with the analysis on College English teaching teams, this paper tries to explore some approaches the College English teachers may use to seek their development. Contact with different majors, new teaching conception like ESP, research on ESP teaching books and development of College English teaching teams provide the College English teachers new breakthroughs in teaching and academic research.
