摘要
在批判西方中国形象中隐含着"东方主义"情结的同时,周宁尝试着提出了两种建构性的解决方案,笔者称之为"与权力联姻"及"超脱于权力"的进路。之所以提出这样两个貌似相互对立和矛盾的解决方案,其原因是在于周宁本身在建构过程中所采取的一种"模棱两可"的态度。本文从对"同情式理解"的视角出发,对跨文化形象学这两张相异面孔进行了一个评述。
In critiquing Orientalism as implicated in Western images of China,Zhou Ning attempts to suggest two constructive proposals,namely the approach of ' marriage with power' and that of ' detachment from power'. The reason that Zhou suggests these two solutions that are seemingly in conflict and mutually antithetical is his ambiguity in the process of theoretical construction. This article offers an analytical account of these two faces of the transcultural studies of images from the perspective of ' sympathetic understanding'.
