A Review of Harvard Library Reorganization

2012年初,哈佛图书馆系统宣布重组,将之前各自为政的73座图书馆整合为一个统一的图书馆。文章综述美国哈佛图书馆重组的背景、工作重点和新的组织结构,为21世纪我国高校图书馆职能转变的研究提供参考。

At the beginning of 2012, Harvard library announced to incorporate its 73 separate libraries into one centralized library. This paper makes a review of Harvard Library reorganization, briefly introducing its background, focus, and new organizational structure, in order to provide a reference for studies in functional transformation of Chinese university library in the 21st century.
