乡村变迁与方音变化的性别模式——基于连岛社区的个案研究

On the Relation Between Rural Changes and the Gender Pattern in Dialect Shift——A Case Study in Lian Dao Community

性别是理解和解释语言现象的重要因素。汉语社区的方言调查较少关注性别因素与语言系统变化之间的关系。通过对一个乡村社区语音变化与性别因素相关性的考察,结果表明:语音系统中[f]变项的变异正呈现出一种较为特殊的性别变异模式。这一模式与西方社区中普遍发现的模式有所不同,其产生与中国乡村社区结构的特点及其男女社会地位、思想观念、语言态度的变化等社会因素密切相关。

Gender is one of the important factors to understand and explain linguistic phenomena. The survey of the dialects in Chinese community scarcely focuses on the relation between gender factors and changes in hnguistic systems. A survey of the relation between gender factors and the accent changes in a rural community suggests a particular gender variation model in the different variants of [ f] in linguistic system. Different from the model discovered in western communities, this particular gender variation model is closely related to features of rural community structure in China and some social factors such as male and female social status, ideas, and linguistic attitudes, etc.
