Translation as a Profession and Curriculum Design for Legal Translation Majors

我国法律翻译专业人才培养职业化教科研刚刚起步,培养目标的实现和培养模式的实施,归根到底要依赖于合理、完善的课程设置。以市场需求为导向,以职业能力培养为目的,调整不合理的课程结构,适当提高专业翻译类、专业素养类以及译者能力培养类课程比例成为当前法律翻译专业课程设置职业化急需解决的问题之一。

The teaching and research work in prolessional legal translator training has just started in China. The realization of its teach- ing objectives and the implement of training modes uhimately depend on a reasonably comprehensive curriculum design. Oriented by market demands ,with the purpose of cultivating professional competence, we find that one of the urgent problems in professionalized curriculum design for legal translation majors lies in adjusting impractical curriculum structure to raise the proportion of specialized translation courses such as professional translation, professional accomplishment and translator competence cultivation.
