Gel techniques for preventing and fighting fire have many properties, such as to stop loopholes, lower temperature, and prevent coal oxidation, and so on. The techniques are further developed during its application. New type of gel fire fighting and prevention techniques as flying ash gel, composite gel and condensing gel, and their application in Yangquan coal mine are introduced.
