摘要
语言与思维互相影响,相互依存。口译过程实质上是一个由译者的认知和语言处理机制共同参与并控制的l心理过程。本文借助思维科学及口译理论研究成果,探讨口译思维的基本特性及记忆系统在口译思维中的重要作用,并根据口译思维的特性,提出提高交传短期记忆教学效果的一些建议。
Language and thought are characterized by mutual influence and interdependence. Interpreting is essentially a mental process incorporating and controlled by an interpreter' s cognition and language processing mechanism. The paper takes advantage of recent findings from thought science, focusing on interpreting per se so as to reveal the unique features of the thinking in interpreting and the essential role memory mechaaism plays in the thinking in interpreting. Furthermore, based on the irlherent regularity of the thinking in interpreting, strategies for boosting STM effectiveness in consecutive interpretation ( CI ) teaching will be tentatively proposed.
