Sound absorption and noise reduction has the important significance in People's Daily life,safety equipment and the military field.The foamed aluminium as an important sound absorption noise reduction materials has got the widespread attention.This paper simply introduces the sound absorption mechanism of foamed aluminum,the factors influencing the foamed aluminum sound absorption performance and the acoustic characteristics of the foamed aluminum composite,and proposes the research trend of foamed metal and development direction,which provides the reference to further promotion of the foamed aluminum sound absorption performance research and application.
