摘要
现代新儒家重要代表唐君毅被称为"伟大的中国文化运动者",他一生致力于中国文化的复兴与建设。中国传统文化近代以来的失守在于:其一以西方学术方法研究中国学术;其二对传统文化"整理国故"的研究态度;其三是西方学者对研究中国学术的错误动机。中国民族文化的重建需要以民族文化自信为前提,以发展学术为灵魂,以教育教化为手段,以日常生活为载体进行"灵根自植"。
Tang Junyi, one of the representatives of modern NeoConfucianism, was called "the great personage ot Chinese cultural movement", and he had been concentrated efforts on the Chinese cultural rejuvenation and building. Tang Junyi thought that the Chinese culture went downhill because of three aspects. Firstly, the Chinese academic was researched by the way of Western academic instead of the traditional approaches. Secondly, some Chinese scholars looked upon the Chinese traditional culture as some waste materials, not as the vividculture. Finally, the western scholars studied Chinese culture with the wrong purposes rather than reverent attitude. Tang Junyi deemed that we had to treat cultural confidence as a foundation; scholarship as the soul; education as the means; daily life as the sub stance in our culture building. Only in this way can we inherit and develop traditional Chinese culture authentically.
