常用词“租、赁”的历时替换

The Diachronic Replacement Between Basic Words "zu(租)" and "lin(赁)"

汉语史上,"赁"与"租"都可以表示"付出代价暂用别人的东西",二者在历史上存在历时替换关系。清代以前,"赁"占主导地位;唐至元代,"租"的"租赁"义开始使用,明代发展迅速,清代时取代"赁"成为主导词,现当代时期最终实现了对"赁"的替换。

In Chinese language history, the verb which the cost of （money etc.） has been signified by the words ＂zu conveys the meaning of renting something at （租）＂and ＂lin （赁）＂. There exists a diachronic replacement relationship between these two words. Before the Qing dynasty, ＂lin（赁）＂ was mainly used. ＂Zu （租）＂ was first seen in the Tang dynasty and rapidly developed in the Ming dynasty. And then＂zu （租）＂ became dominant in the Qing dynasty, and finally replaced＂lin（赁）＂ in modern and contemporary period.
