The Ideological Trend of "Demise" in the Middle Warring States Period——Exampled by Newly Unearthed Ancient Literature

新出土古文献《唐虞之道》、《子羔》、《容成氏》都极力推崇尚贤禅让,是战国中期尚贤禅让思潮下的产物,其思想的复杂性反映了当时诸子百家思想的相互渗透和融合的倾向。

The newly unearthed ancient literature including Doctrines of Tangyu, Zigao and Rongcheng all strongly advocated the thought of demise for virtuous and able persons, which is a result of the ideo- logical trend of demise in the middle Warring States Period. Its complexity in thoughts reflects the tendency of mutual penetration and fusion of the hundred schools of thought at the time.
