Diligently Temper Medical Language to Better Serve the Patients——A Talk of the Study of Clinical Language with the Students Majored in Clinical Medicine

修辞是提高语言表达效果的科学。修辞的原则是得体,即语言的表达要得体。医疗语言是医务人员从事医疗工作的书面语以及与患者交流的口语和体态语。医疗语言也应讲究修辞,而所遵守的原则当然也应是得体。这对提高医务人员素质、改善医患关系和塑造医务工作者良好形象都具有重要意义。医疗语言应简明通俗,准确规范;用语谨慎,注意保密;用语文明,注重礼貌;恰当得体,注重体态语。

Rhetoric is a science to improve language expression. Its principle is appropriateness, or, proper language expression. Medical language is the book language, oral language and body language of the medical workers, which should also be refined and in which the principle of appropriateness should also be observed. This is very meaningful to enhance the quality and set up good images of medical workers and improve the relationship between doctors and patients. Medical language should be simple, popular, correct and regular. Medical workers should talk cautiously, politely, properly and pay close to their body language.
