"年"是中华民族的传统节日。"年"这一个完整的节日,跨越冬末和初春,是一个时间段。米脂的过年从腊八节开始,"二月初二"结束,热闹且与众不同,米脂过年吃焖饭、送灶君爷、压年糕、打醋坛、品山、醮纸等一系列的过年习俗是米脂传统文化的突出表现。
"Year" is the traditional festival of Chinese. "Year" is a complete festival, from the end of winter to the early spring. It is celebrated during a period of time. It won't start till the "laba festival" on lunar 8, December and ends on lunar 2, February, during which people are very active and happy eating stewed rice, rice cakes, clean- ing the air by heating the vinegar, seeing off Zaojun God, worshiping the mountains, worshiping Chinese Gods in temples. It is to inherit and carry forward the traditional culture.
