An Application of Network Communication Theory to Colleges' Ideological and Political Education in the “Twitter- Age”

近年来,微博已风靡大学校园,受到了高校学生的青睐以及教育工作者的关注,成为高校思想政治教育的一个全新载体。同时,它也给高校思想政治教育工作带来了前所未有的挑战。运用传播学的相关理论对"微环境"下高校思想政治教育工作的应对措施进行探究已成为教育界又一崭新课题。文章试图通过网络传播理论中的"把关人"理论、"议程设置功能"理论、"受众"理论等对"微环境"下的高校思想政治教育的途径进行探讨,以期有益于当前高校思想政治教育工作。

Twitter is very popular in universities in recent years. It has gained great popularity among college students and caused college teachers＇ attention. Therefore, it may become a new way for ideological and political education in colleges and universities. Meanwhile, it may also bring new challenges to college educators. Applying principles of communication to make a survey on teaching measures has been a brand new subject in educational circles. This paper tries to apply theories of ＂Gatekeeper＂, ＂Agenda - setting Function＂ and ＂Audience＂ to make a research on approaches of ideological and political education in colleges and universities.
