My Experience and Ideas in Pursuing Studies

受访人回顾了自己的求学过程和治学经历,总结了多年来研究科学史尤其是中国古代历法的经验,同时简要介绍了担任行政职务期间所做的一些学术组织工作,最后与访谈者就治学方法、研究生培养、学术与政治、研究方向等问题展开了探讨。

Recalling his own experience in pursuing studies and researching, the interviewee summarizes the experience of studying the history of science, especially of the history of ancient Chinese calendar. He also gives a brief introduction to organization work of academic activities when he was taking administrative duties. Finally, several issues are discussed such as research methods, postgraduate education, scholarship and politics, and research directions.
