摘要
英语教学不单单是英语语言的教学活动,它往往伴随着英语文化的教学。因此对多元文化差异的分析显然能使英语教学更加深入和有效,进而使英语语言教学质量得以提升。对于中国的英语教师及教育工作者来说,英语教学必然需要渗透多元文化对比教学才能使学生习得更地道的英语,达到最佳语言交流的目的。
English Language Teaching(ELT) tends to involve more than the teaching activities pertinent to the English language itself,which is supposed to be conducted along with the English cultural teaching.Accordingly,an analysis of the existing multicultural differences may definitely make ELT more deeply and effectively so as to improve its quality.As for Chinese English teachers and educators,a multicultural contrastive teaching would inevitably permeate through the whole ELT process,and thus students are highly likely to learn more idiomatic English to attain the purpose of optimized verbal communication.
