批评语篇分析的关联视角

A Relevance-theoretic Approach to Critical Discourse Analysis

关联理论的分析框架可以对批评语篇分析面临的相关批评作出回应。这些批评包括:(1)语篇分析的过程缺乏解释性;(2)语篇分析本质上具有主观性;(3)语篇分析的结果具有不确定性。在批评语篇分析中引入关联理论,可以解决解释性缺乏的问题,对分析的主观性以及结果的不确定性作出认知本质上的阐释。此外,本文也分析了关联理论框架下,避免批评语篇分析中的主观性与不确定性可采取的具体措施。

Relevance Theory （RT） can provide a reply to the criticism faced by Critical Discourse Analysis （CDA）. Such criticism in- volves three aspects ： （ 1 ） the lack of explanatory power in the process of analysis ; （2） subjectivity of the analysis ; and （3） un- certainty of the result of the analysis. It is argued in this paper that the adoption of RT in CDA can solve the problem of explana- tory power, and provide a cognitive account for the issues of subjectivity and uncertainty. The paper also suggests the detailed op- erations that can be provided by RT in CDA.
