Cloud computing is a newly developed technology of computer, whose development brings opportunities and challenges to the library management and service. This paper analyses the meanings, uses and development outlooks of cloud computing in library management and service, thinking that the rise of cloud computing brings more opportuni- ties than challenges to the development of library.
