论大学生思想道德教育与英语跨文化教学的相融性

On the compatibility between English cross-culture teaching and ideological and moral education of college students

大学英语教学是传播外来文化的直接途径和载体,对大学生良好思想道德的培养和形成起着非常关键的作用。我国高等学校应将大学生思想道德教育和英语跨文化语言教学有机地结合起来,提高学生对文化的鉴别和选择能力,摈弃西方文化腐朽、消极的成分,感知优秀文化的思想内涵,在潜移默化中培养大学生良好的文化修养和优秀的道德素质。

Cross-cultural college English teaching as a direct way and a carrier to spread foreign cultures plays an important role in the ideological and moral cultivation and formation of college students. China＇s colleges and universities is supposed to integrate college students＇ ideological and moral education with English intercultural language teaching so as to increase the students＇ ability to identify and choose culture. And hence, they can improve their cultural cultivation and moral quality by abandoning the negative sides of western culture and getting aware of the connotations of excellent cultures.
