Influence of Ni and V on Growth and Physiological Characteristics of Suaeda heteroptera Kitagawa and Cotton under Saline Condition

摘要 为探讨重金属Ni和V对翅碱蓬和棉花的胁迫作用,通过盆栽实验,研究了不同重金属含量对两种植物的株高、干重、叶绿素、过氧化氢酶、可溶性蛋白质和游离脯氨酸的影响。结果表明,2种植物对Ni+V的耐受阈值均为36 mg/kg+19 mg/kg。重金属浓度较高时,翅碱蓬和棉花的生长指标均受到抑制。2种植物叶绿素随着重金属浓度的升高而降低;过氧化氢酶活性在20 d内增加,以后迅速下降。随着重金属浓度增加翅碱蓬的可溶性蛋白前40 d上升,之后逐渐下降;而棉花的可溶性蛋白随着重金属浓度增加先上升后下降,随着时间推移不断下降。但是,2种植物的游离脯氨酸量均随重金属浓度的增加而升高。在Ni和V的共同胁迫下棉花比翅碱蓬更容易受到毒害。 The effects of Ni and V on plant height, dry weight, content of chlorophyll, catalase (CAT) activity, soluble protein, and free proline in Suaeda heteroptera Kitagawa and cotton were studied. Suaeda heteroptera Kitagawa and cotton were exposed to different Ni and V concentrations in order to evaluate the responses of the two plants to heavy metal stress. Results showed that the plants had tolerance threshold of 36 mg/kg for Ni and 19 mg/kg for V , under which the plants showed similar height, dry weight and physiological characteristics with that of control group. With increasing heavy metal concentrations in soils, the chlorophyll contents in the two plants declined obviously, CAT activities increased in a short period and then decline, the soluble protein contents of Suaeda heteroptera Kitagawa increased and then declined with time, while the soluble protein contents of cotton declined after increase; the free proline in the two plants both increased significantly. In general, the inhibitory effects of soil Ni and V contaminations for cotton seedling were severer than that for Suaeda heteroptera Kitagawa seedling.
