Classroom observation is a research activity with a clear purpose and systematic planning under the guidance of definite teaching theory, which can help to improve the teacher＇s teaching ability. This article explores means of classroom observation and approaches to improve teachers＂ teaching ability by observing and recording the whole process of an open ideological and moral lesson： discussion before class, class observation and introspection after class in the junior middle school.
