莆田市人口流出特征及其影响因素探析——以仙游县和秀屿区为例

Features and Influencing Factors of Out-migrant from Putian City——Take Xianyou County and Xiuyu District as Examples

以仙游县和秀屿区为例,在利用第六次人口普查数据的基础上,结合实地问卷调查和深入访谈,探析莆田市的人口流出特征及其影响因素。研究发现,莆田市人口流出规模大且距离长,流出人口以初中教育文化的青壮年务工经商男士为主,长期在外流动人口返乡意愿不强。区位条件和经济发展不如周边地区、敢闯敢拼的地域文化和浓厚的迁移传统、基础设施和公共服务水平不高是形成上述人口流出特征的三大影响因素。针对问题,提出相应的政策建议。

The paper is based on the 6th population census data, field investigation and in-depth interviews. With the examples of Xianyou County and Xiuyu District, it analyzes some features and influencing factors of out-migrant from Putian City. The research finds that the out-migrant from Putian City is of large scale, accounting big proportion of local registered population. And most of them are young males with junior high school education level, hunting a job and engaged in trade. The out-migrant shows little intention to go back to hometown. The main influencing factors are these： worse regional conditions and economic level which lags behind surrounding areas, strong migration tradition and specific culture, and the imperfect infrastructure and public service. According to above problems, some suggestions are provided.
