The GIS application in Hunan second afforestation project of Sino German Financial Cooperation Domestic Mo- nitoring were dicussed, the program and method to establish the corresponding data of the system were given, it has im- portant reference value for other similar projects, is a beneficial exploration of forestry informatization.
