Energy storage technologies＇ popularizing is meaningful in accelerating new energy industry and promoting intelligence power system. Based on the industry foundation of China at present, different energy storage technologies as well as their suitable markets were analyzed. From the side of practical demand of energy storage technologies, the advantages of developing vanadium flow battery and the obstacles on its application way were introduced.
