乌头汤出自《金匮要略》,具有散寒除湿,除痹止痛的功效。痹证是由风、寒、湿、热等引起的以肢体关节及肌肉酸痛、麻木、重着、屈伸不利,甚或关节肿大灼热等为主症的一类病证,王付教授运用乌头汤加减治疗各种腰椎间盘突出症、慢性膝关节炎、骨性关节炎、强直性脊柱炎等痹证,均取得良好疗效。
