医学图像配准是医学图像融合的第一步 ,而基于图像边界的配准方法对刚性物体图像 (如人头颅骨的 CT、MRI图像 )来讲是一种较好的配准方法。本文给出了一种医学图像外边界的提取方法 ,它能够快速、准确地提取出 CT、 MRI等图像的外边界 。

Medical image registration is the first step of medical image fusion. Contour\|based registration method is a good one for rigid\|body images (such as: CT,MRI brain image).An image contour extraction method is presented in this paper. Using this method image contour can be extracted quickly and accurately, which provides assurance for contour\|based image registration.
