正确认识“普世价值”的应有取向

On the Orientation of “Universal Value”

对"普世价值"的批判应避免两种倾向,即避免泛意识形态化和简单粗暴化。对普世价值不能只从政治角度进行批判,而忽视或者遮蔽来自学术立场、生活视角的质疑和探讨。不能对普世价值作望文生义、简单片面的理解,或是过分强调个性忽视共性,混淆目标和手段。要正确认识和对待普世价值,一方面要加强交流对话和相互理解,达成普世价值的基本共识,另一方面要增强理论自觉和文化自信,构建普世价值的中国话语。

Two tendencies should be avoided when criticizing the ＂Universal Value＂ , that is, pan- ideologicalization and simplization. We should not criticize the ＂universal value＂ merely from the political angle, and neglect or shield other query from the academic and life angles. Nor should we make a simple and literal interpretation of it. To obtain a correct understanding and attitude towards the ＂Universal Value＂ , we should, on the one hand, strengthen communication and mutual understanding, and reach a consensus, on other hand, reinforce our theoretical consciousness and cultural confidence, and construct the Chinese discourse of the ＂Universal Value＂
