中西文化融合环境下大学英语教师文化身份定位思考

先进的文化观不仅能加速提高个体文化综合素质,而且能推动民族文化前进的步伐。大学英语课程是大学生与西方文化接触的主要桥梁,因此作为集中西文化于一身的大学英语教师在大学英语教学中的文化身份定位尤为重要。大学英语教师在大学英语教学过程中应尊重中西文化差异,既要传播西方文化,又要弘扬中华优秀传统文化,以推动中西文化的融合,最终培育具有现代文化观的大学生。

Individual cultural comprehensive qualities can be improved increasingly by advanced cultural perspectives which can be also used to impel the pace of national culture ahead. College English course is the key bridge contacting university students with western culture. Therefore, in the course of College English teaching,the position of cultural identity for college English teachers , who are proficient in Chinese and western culture,is of great importance.College English teachers should respect the differences between Chinese and western culture, spread western culture and develop Chinese traditional culture in order to promote the integration of Chinese and Western culture and finally cultivate the university students who are of modern cultural perspectives.
