杨宓翻译的《名利场》一直以来被视为译作经典,译文语言精练地道,幽默风趣,不仅真实再现了原作的风格,传达出原作的意境,更使译作成为一部富有文学价值和艺术感染力的作品。一直以来,很多学者对杨宓翻译的《名利场》进行研究,希望从这部经典的译作中找到杨宓的翻译方法和技巧,这里也试从归化与异化两方面探索杨之译本是如何做到忠实与通顺完美结合的,以期为后来学习者提供借鉴。

Vanity Fair translated by Yang Mi has been regarded as a classical version for a long time. Yang sophistically and successfully used Chinese language to restructure the original writing style and its spirit. Since Yang＇s version came into being, it has been studied by a lot of scholars who were trying to find some translation methods and skills from the version. This paper tries to find out the recipe of the perfect combi- nation of faithfulness and fluency in Yang＇s version.
