摘要
目的 :探讨血管内皮生长因子 (vascular endothelial growth factor,VEGF)在原发性肺癌发生、发展、侵袭和转移等生物学行为中的作用。方法 :应用反转录聚合酶链式反应技术对 34例原发性肺癌患者的癌组织及 2 1例患者的正常肺组织的 VEGF m RNA进行检测 ,统计分析 VEGF m RNA的表达与肺癌的淋巴结转移、TNM分期等的关系。结果 :VEGF- 189m RNA在肺癌组织中的表达 (6 1.8% )显著高于正常肺组织 (4 .8% ,P <0 .0 1)。VEGF- 189m RNA在有淋巴结转移组的表达 (88.2 % )显著高于无淋巴结转移组 (35 .3% ) (P <0 .0 1)。VEGF- 189m RNA的表达在 TNM 期与 期及 期与 期之间有显著差异 (P <0 .0 5 )。结论 :VEGF的结合型同源体VEGF- 189m RNA与原发性肺癌的发生、侵袭和转移等密切相关。
Objective: This study was to explore the relationship between the expression of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) mRNA and the progression of primary lung carcinoma. Methods: We examined the expression of VEGF mRNA in 34 cases of primary lung cancer tissues and 21 cases of normal lung tissues by using reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT PCR). The relation between the expression of VEGF mRNA and lymph node metastasis The TNM staging of lung cancer was statistically analyzed. Results: The cell associated isoform VEGF 189 expressed more frequently in lung cancer tissues (21 of 34, 61.8%) than in normal lung tissues (1 of 21, 4.8%, P<0.01). It also expressed more frequently in cases with lymph node metastasis (15 of 17, 88.2%) than in those without lymph node metastasis (6 of 17, 35.3%, P<0.01). There were significance in the expression of VEGF 189 mRNA between TNM stage I and II (P<0.05), Ⅰ and Ⅲ (P<0.01), but not between stage Ⅱ and Ⅲ (P>0.05). Conclusion: The expression of cell associated isoform VEGF 189 is closely related with the progression of primary lung cancer.
