摘要
1 简介
随着IP组播技术的不断成熟与推广,越来越多的组播视频会议应用系统出现在Internet上.相对于传统的单播传输应用,组播视频会议具有参与人数多,数据传输量大,数据传输实时性要求高的特点,可以充分利用组播方式在单点对多点的传输过程中所占用带宽远远小于传统单播方式带宽需求的优势.
The application of videoconference involves several kinds of data flows (video, audio, white board,and floor control etc. )which are characterized 'jy different demands of network transfer QoS. This makes it appropriate to regard videoconference as proper applications to study the network transfer QoS. This paper devotes to give a comprehensive overview and discussion of the application of QoS in videoconference, including analysis of real time data flow in videoconference, specifications of data flows, different implementations of QoS in network elements, and introduction to some existing QoS APIs.
