Emergency management of flood in cities of China: progress and measures

我国城市大多滨水而建,不同程度遭受各种类型洪涝灾害的威胁。随着城镇化发展的加快,城市暴雨洪涝带来的损失越来越巨大,城市防洪排涝形势越来越严峻,城市防洪应急管理的重要性日益凸显。总结了我国城市防洪工作的进展,分析了当前城市防洪应急管理存在的主要问题,提出了加强城市防洪应急管理的对策建议。

Cities in China are mostly built along or near rivers or lakes, and thus confronted with threat caused by various types of floods. Along with fast speed of urbanization, the losses caused by rainstorm become bigger and bigger that has worsened the situation of flood control in cities, and emergency management has become increasingly important. The progress of flood control in citied of China and key issues are reviewed and summarized. Measures and solutions for strengthening emergency management of flood are worked out.
