With the rapid development of medical diagnostic equipment, computer technology and network techniques, a fundamental change has occurred in the mode and process of cooperation between the primary health care institutions and the higher level hospitals. Taking diagnostic imaging as an example, the establishment of the regional diagnostic imaging centre has realized the vertical integration of medical imaging so that it is of benefit to the professionals who are familiar with the technicalcontents to carry out the work.
