Pan Feisheng, a poet of Nanshe Association in Guangxu Period of Qing Dynas- ty, taught in Berlin, which initiated the Chinese scholar＇s teaching Chinese language and literature in Germany. The paper is to outline the forgotten history of Sino-German cultural exchange and reveal the relationship between Otto Julius Bierbaum and Pan Feisheng to show the worthiness and significance of Pan Feisheng＇s teaching in Berlin as a research top- ic in the history of Sino-German cultural exchange.
