The novel Manshui of WANG Yue-wen, regardless of the performance on its background, layout of the plot, eharacterizatinn, or its language style, structure, shows the writer＇s breakthrough from his previous writing style. By giving a vivid description of a serene country full of warmth and presentation of the rural community and a healthy human unassuming beauty the writer shows some sort of turn in his novel creation.
