According to operation characteristics and problems of environmental monitoring station in the past, introduced LIMS that based on the characteristics of environmental monitoring station. The writer mainly introduced the working processes and system module of the laboratory information management system in environmental monitoring station, reflected flexible, strict operation characteristics of the system, as well as the comprehensive system application function. Besides, described the fast, efficient operation condition of LIMS in the station, common defects and the limitations of LIMS＇ implementation. Provided the good model, application experience and advice for the construction, implementation and application of LIMS in the same industry monitoring station, promoted the environmental monitoring industry＇ s informationization and modernization management.
