摘要
随着老龄化社会的到来和网络技术的发展,老年远程教育已日益演化成为一个新的研究领域,了解老年人远程学习现状和问题,有助于更好地支持老年人开展终身学习和提高生活质量。本研究使用自编问卷调查了上海市老年人学习的条件、内容、方式、影响因素以及学习的态度和愿望,结果表明:上海老年人开展远程学习的物质条件基本满足;老年人主要学习医疗保健和旅游度假方面的知识,主要凭个人兴趣学习;老年大学、社区学院等老年教育机构尚不能满足老年人的远程学习需求,需要更多的老年教育机构为老年人提供学习平台;阻碍老年人远程学习的因素多种多样,但身体不好和没有时间是其主要因素,身心方面的主要阻碍是视力弱和无价值感等;老年人认为自身应终身持续不断地学习,且对未来的远程学习有较多的愿望或期待。此外,不同性别、年龄和文化程度的老年人在远程学习方面有较大的显著性差异。
With the arrival of aging society and the development of network technology, distance education for older adults is becoming a new field of study. Insights into this issue will inform policies for active aging, leading to better support of older adults' lifelong learning and enhancement of their life quality. Using a self-designed questionnaire, this study investigated the status quo of older adults' distance learning in Shanghai in terms of learning conditions, learning contents, learning styles, influencing factors, attitudes and expectations. Findings from the survey are instructive. First, the subjects had adequate material conditions. Second, they liked healthcare and holiday-making courses out of personal interest. Third, universities for older adults and community colleges could not meet their distance learning needs. Fourth, of all the influencing factors, poor health and lack of time were the main obstacles to their participation in distance learning. Fifth, the subjects were of the opinion that one is never too old to learn and held diverse expectations for distance learning. Last but not least, older adults of different sexes, age groups and educational backgrounds differed significantly in a number of aspects of distance learning.
