A Study on the Factors Affecting Income of the New Generation Migrant Workers

本文将影响新生代农民工收入状况的主要因素归纳为个体特征、人力资本特征以及岗位特征三个方面。基于对四川351位新生代农民工的实地调研资料,进行实证检验。结果显示:新生代农民工个体特征、人力资本特征以及岗位特征都对其收入产生一定影响。性别、婚姻状况、教育程度和所处职位四个因素最终影响新生代农民工收入状况。

This paper reduces the factors affecting income of the new generation migrant workers to individual characteristics, human capital characteristics and position characteristics. Based on the field investigation of 351 new generation migrant workers in Sichuan Province, this paper examines the factors affecting income of the new generation migrant workers. The results show as follows： in the model, individual characteristics, human capital characteristics and position characteristics all affect the income of the new generation migrant workers. Specifically, the significant factors include gender, marital status, education level and position.
