On the Braille Literature Resource Construction in the Public Library

丰富的馆藏文献,是吸引读者来图书馆的前提。目前,我国公共图书馆盲人文献缺乏,满足不了盲人读者的阅读需求。公共图书馆可通过调查读者信息需求采购盲人文献,与中国盲文出版社合作和自己生产盲人文献,建立盲人网站和盲人文献数据库等途径,为盲人读者提供文献信息服务。

Abundant collection of books is the premise for attracting readers to the library. At present, the public library cant satisfy the reading demand of the blind readers because i. has not enough literatures for the blind. To construct the literature for the visual people, the public library can use some ways to provide the literature information service to the visual readers, such as purchasing the braille literature based on the survey to the visual people, cooperating with CBHP, producing braille literature by the library and establishing a website for the visual people and the braille literature database.
