摘要
利用充氧气的气凝硅胶电子偶素源,用与已知的^(106)Ruγ射线能量511856.2(2.3)eV相比较的方法,测得仲态电子偶素湮没2γ射线的能量为510998.7(2.5)eV,将此数值(经结合能修正)与电子静止质量所对应的能量(m_ec^2)进行了比较。
Using a silica aerogel sample with oxygen gas introduced as the positronium source, the γ
ray energy from the parapositronium 2γ annihilation has been measured as 510998.7 (2.5) eV by
means of the comparison with the known γ energy 511856.2 (2.3) eV of the ^(106)Ru γ ray. The re-
sult, after a revision of the binding energy of positronium, is comparied with the adjusted value
of the electron rest mass published in several years ago.
