The seismic data transmission cable test system is a kind of cable test platform which is of uniform technical standards and accurate testing with high efficiency and reliability. Applied in the electrical performance testing and acceptance of seismic data transmission cable, this test system can provide reliable reference for different types of in- strument cable localization and new instrumentation cables acceptance. This paper briefly introduces the basic princi- ple, hardware configuration, parameter settings of independent researched software, cable testing steps and results analysis of the seismic data transmission test system.
