A Cognitive Stylistic Study on Sense and Sensibility

运用文本世界和概念整合理论对《理智与情感》进行文体研究,对作品中人物性格表征与情节发展的关系进行分析,并且比较了文本世界与概念整合两种理论,指出其在文体学研究中的交互性及理论构建上的差异。

This paper attempts to explore interpretation of the novel Sense and Sensibility from the cognitive stylistic perspective. By applying text world theory and blending theory respectively, the tex- mar organization and plot progression will be discussed and interpreted accordingly. Furthermore, the author provides a preliminary and tentative study on the theoretical interaction between text world theo- ry and blending theory.
