摘要
词汇的学习、积累和应用是第二语言习得研究中的一个重要方面,具有丰富的语境意义。语境对于词汇学习有着十分积极的作用,在语境中组织好词汇教学,是英语教学必不可少的一个组成部分。该文阐述了语境理论的定义及具体内容,分析了语境理论对大学英语词汇教学的积极作用,并提出了相应的方法和对策。主张通过对语境理论的认识发挥其在英语词汇学习中的作用,培养学生语境意识,从而提高学生词汇理解能力,以获取理想的语言教学效果。
Learning,accumulating and applying vocabulary is an important aspect of study in second language acquisition. Vocabulary has a rich contextual meaning. Context has a very positive effect on vocabulary learning. Teaching vocabulary in context is an essential part in English teaching. This paper illustrates the definition of context theory and its specific content,and analyses the positive role of context theory to college English vocabulary teaching. Some strategies are also given to make the students more aware of the context so as to improve the students' comprehension of vocabulary and obtain the good teaching effect through the understanding of the theory of context
