The vertical press filter is very importance to the solid-liquid separation, which has high automatization and regeneration,wide application. The applications of the vertical press filter were illustrated in the metallurgy industry, the vertical press filter and the horizontal press filter were compared, the idea of using vertical press filter in the uranium mine was brought forward, in order to reduce the areas of equipments, reduce the rate of water in the filter-product, improve the automatization and reduce the work-intension.
