广播数据系统的TP功能可以实现对接收终端的控制。在我国,基于这一技术发展起来的校园、厂矿企业、社区、公共区域、旅游景区和农村的定时广播系统,其广播方式仅仅局限于调频广播领域。以昭通市应急广播系统为例,从技术理论与实践两个方面论述将广播数据系统扩展应用到广播电视数字领域的可行性。

Radio data system （RDS） of the TP function can realize control the receiving terminal. In our country, campus, enterprise, community, public areas, tourism and rural timing broadcast system development, only limited in FM broadcasting domain. This paper takes Zhaotong city emergency broadcast system as an Practical example, from two aspects of theory and practice of technology discusses the radio data system （RDS） extend the feasibility applied to digital TV broadcasting field.
